Outdoorsman and Eagle Scout

Riptide Rings began in 2016, when avid fisherman and outdoor aficionado Jeff Morin had a vision to modernize the traditional wedding ring. Since his youth, Jeff has enjoyed exploring the rugged outdoors and learning to live off of nature’s resources as he moved around as a Marine Corps brat. He eventually became an Eagle Scout, where he lived his passion for the outdoors and became a role model in the Boy Scout community. After high school, Jeff joined the Marine Corps and learned the importance of the challenge coin culture in the military. From there, Jeff created a million dollar business—Coins For Anything, Inc.—which has been on the Inc. 5000 list four years in a row (2009-2012) and expanded the business concept into awards, shirts, signs, promos, and websites. As an innovative thinker and budding entrepreneur, Jeff has launched several successful Kickstarter multi-tool campaigns that have fused together fashion and function.

Always thinking outside the box, Jeff came up with the idea for Riptide Rings when he was looking for a modern wedding ring that could handle his active lifestyle and showcase his passion for the Marine Corps. Unable to find such a product on the market, Jeff used his business knowledge and ingenuity to come up with wedding rings that would endure the toughest military expedition. Forever devoted to the Marine Corps, Jeff wanted to create a durable wedding ring that could be worn by all military members—at war and at home.
